I did the 7:30 show and I have to say I really liked it I kinda sorta got the assignment like two maybe three hours before I had to air it so I really had to use the time I had wisely. This was my second time DJing and I was MUCH more comfortable with it, I definitely knew the board this time and it was really fun too! I played songs like didn’t cha know by Erykah Badu and doo wop by Lauryn hill, then tried to switch it up with a little bit of daft punk and Justice when I played Aerodynamic and DVNO. There was also a great commentary by Kennisha about the legalization of marijuana in California.

I am your dj tajah, this was my first time as a DJ on youth radio raw. I was both excited and very nervous!! Then I realized there was nothing to be that nervous about so I just relaxed and had fun with it. Listening to some of my favorite songs, like no games by Serani and hurt me soul by lupe fiasco, was a pretty cool feeling because I was giving everybody a taste of my kind of music.
